I have thick, wavy hair that gets frizzy in humidity and I have tried probably six different clays over the past two years. Most of them either make my hair crunchy or leave a white residue. This one actually holds without stiffening up and my hair still moves. I use about a dime-sized amount on towel-dried hair and it lasts all day. Only thing I would say is the scent is pretty subtle which I actually prefer.

The Clay gives you stronger hold and a drier, more textured finish — it is better for thicker or coarser hair and styles that need to stay put all day. The Cream is softer in hold and leaves a slightly more natural, lived-in look — better for finer hair or anyone who wants a style that still moves. If you are unsure, go with the Cream first. Most guys find it more versatile for everyday use.
Because most men do not want to look like they tried too hard. A high-shine finish can look great in certain contexts but it draws attention to the product, not the hair. Matte finishes look natural, intentional, and clean — like your hair just looks good, not like you spent twenty minutes on it. That is the look we are building for.
Yes, and we actually recommend it. Start with the Sea Salt Spray on damp hair for texture and volume, let it dry, then work a small amount of Clay or Cream through for hold and shape. The spray does the heavy lifting on structure, the styling product locks it in. Just go lighter on the clay than you normally would — a little goes further when there is already product in the hair.
